Is this where I should have been posting questions about the forums or other "Meta" topics?

Also, this community is not listed in the "Communities" dropdown. Not sure if that's intentional or not...

Hi Scott - this space is focused on ConnectWise Help Desk, NOC and Dedicated Tech services. Fairly new Virtual Community we spun up for partners that want to share best practices and have questions for Product and Service Delivery leads. Any questions or issues that I can help with?

I just wanted to be clear on the purpose of the forum. Thanks.

I do wish there was some sort of "meta" forum or maybe a "connectwise.com" forum, where we could discuss the forums themselves, issues with the support website, etc.

Hi Scott, apologies for the late reply, i've asked and no, there isn't a single place like that yet. How would you  define "Meta" and what type of issues would you like to discuss? For example, product, community business business? I'll collect your feedback and make a recommendation to our virtual community manager.

Some examples would be questions about or issues with:

    • The discussion forums
    • The feedback forums
    • Customer Support system (Emails, form problems, etc)
    • The main website
    • The university (Site, video player, content issues)
    • ConnectWise Home

Here are just a few examples of posts that have no proper place. Note that most of them have gone completely unanswered.

Hi again - looks to me like a Product Support Catchall type of forum. Am I off base? I'll move your feedback forward and I'll see if I can get traction on spinning one up. Worst case, the person replying can re-post the message to the right virtual community and tag the submitter. The way we're structured today is that each virtual community has a product and engineering group that's assigned to monitor and answer. Since we all specialize in specific areas, we haven't setup a general space. Again, let me push and see what I can do. Thanks so much for the time you took to make the recommendation!

Appreciate it. And yeah, I think a "catchall" would be fine. I have opinions on what to call it, but ultimately it doesn't matter. As long as there is 1) A place to post these things and 2) Someone responsible for watching it. Thanks.

edit: 3) It doesn't matter as long as it's intuitive enough. Like please don't call it "Bsio" or something πŸ˜‰

Unrelated: How many Vice Presidents of Product Management does CW have? Kind of a serious question πŸ™‚

in Platform, UMM and Services we have 3 reporting up to our General Manager. Each business unit will have between 2 and 3. My guess is there are probably around 10 for around 30 products and services. Let me know you're asking for a specific reason, I'll try to help.
